Phill Cole

Mini-Tanker Manager

Phill’s the Manager of our Mini-Tanker division, heading up our team of 20 super-star drivers based in Auckland and the Waikato, who deliver bulk diesel supply in-machine or to tanks for our commercial, private and farm-trade customers. With 27 years at Waitomo, he’s also the division’s longest-serving team member. Prior to joining Waitomo, Phill worked at Pineholt Sports and Social Club in the UK for seven years, and was then an owner-driver with PBT Transport. He’s also a longstanding member of the National Road Carriers Association.

Married to Ellen, with two stepsons, Brendon and Andrew, Phill also has five grandchildren and one great-granddaughter. When he’s not at work, you’ll find Phill doing a bit of rallying in his classic car, hiking, fishing or watching rugby. He also enjoys travelling.
