Waitomo “Crack the Code” Giveaway – Season Two Terms & Conditions

1. Promoter

This promotion is conducted by Waitomo Group Limited (“Waitomo”), New Zealand.

2. Promotion Period

The promotion runs from Thursday 18 September 2025 until 11:59pm, Thursday 23 October 2025 (“Promotion Period”).

A new clue will be released at 7:00pm each Thursday during the Promotion Period.

3. How to Enter

To enter:

Visit the official Waitomo Facebook page during the Promotion Period.

Each Thursday at 7:00pm, a new “Crack the Code” clue will be posted.

Comment your answer to the weekly clue in the comments section of the Facebook post.

Only the first 100 valid comments per week will be entered into the draw.

Each correct weekly answer counts as one (1) entry into the grand prize draw.

You may enter once per weekly clue, with a maximum of six (6) entries per person across the full promotion.

4. Eligibility

Open to New Zealand residents aged 17 years or older.

Employees of Waitomo Group and its associated agencies are not eligible to enter.

Participants must have a public Facebook profile so entries can be validated.

5. Prizes

Grand Prize:

One winner will be drawn at random from all valid entries received during the Promotion Period.

The winner will receive $2,000 worth of Waitomo Moolah, loaded to their Waitomo App account.

Weekly Bonus Prizes:

Each week, one entrant who tags a friend in their answer will win $100 worth of Waitomo Moolah.

Weekly prize winners are still eligible for the grand prize draw.

Conditions:

Winners must have or create an active Waitomo App account to redeem prizes.

Prizes are not transferable, exchangeable, or redeemable for cash.

Waitomo Moolah must be used in accordance with the Waitomo App Terms of Use.

6. Winner Selection & Notification

The grand prize draw will take place and be announced on Friday the 24th of October. 

The weekly bonus prize winners will be drawn after each weekly round on the following Monday. 

Winners will be contacted via direct message on Facebook and must respond within 72 hours to claim their prize.

If a winner cannot be contacted or fails to claim their prize, Waitomo reserves the right to select a replacement winner.

7. General Conditions

By entering, participants agree to be bound by these Terms and Conditions.

Waitomo reserves the right to verify entries and to disqualify any entrant who tampers with the entry process or does not comply with these Terms.

This promotion is in no way sponsored, endorsed, administered by, or associated with Facebook.

8. Privacy

Personal information provided will be used solely for the purposes of conducting this promotion.

All information will be handled in accordance with Waitomo’s Privacy Policy.
