Asset Manager

Dave joined the Waitomo whānau in 2024, following a 20-year career in telecommunications at Transfield Services NZ and most recently, Tuatahi First Fibre. His first ever job was as a petrol attendant in Hunterville, so it made sense to return to his roots and work for Waitomo, where we benefit from his extensive skills and knowledge in asset management, service provision, and team management. Dave also holds an MBA from the University of Waikato, completed in 2023, and is a member of the Institute of Asset Management.

Outside of work, you’ll find Dave outside exploring Aotearoa on his bike, playing golf, walking up a trail, or if it’s snowing, skiing down the mountain. Otherwise, he’ll be winding down with his family, or doing his bit to support his community.

Dave is married to his amazing wife who is always supportive of his latest adventure and endeavours – while being super proud Dad of their two adult daughters who are making their own mark in the world.
