Greta Shirley

Group Manager - Customer Experience

Born in Hamilton, Greta completed law and arts degrees at Otago University, before completing her post-graduate study in journalism at AUT. This opened the door to TVNZ where she spent six years as a television producer, before moving into communications and government relations consultancy. Since then, she has worked in various communications and marketing management roles including at NIWA, and global healthcare company Alliance Healthcare (UK), before joining Waitomo in 2019 to look after the mana and heritage of the Waitomo brand. Now Greta takes great pride in heading up our Customer Experience Team, working alongside our clever and hard-working marketing and communications, customer service and assets teams.

Married to a Welshman, with a lovely young daughter, outside work Greta enjoys running, photography, travel and watching live sport.
