Human Resources Manager

People is one of our core values at Waitomo – which is why we’re lucky to have a real “people person” looking after all things HR for our team. A self-proclaimed “social butterfly”, Julie joined the Waitomo whānau in 2022 after many years working in HR in the rural sector – at Livestock Improvement and NZ Farm Management. Julie studied Human Resource management at Waikato University.

Married to Ollie, with son Jamie and daughter Olivia, outside work Julie enjoys anything that combines fitness and friends, particularly running and adventures races. Her summer weekends are spent in the outdoors at the beach fishing, diving, skiing, and entertaining. Winters are spent yelling from the sidelines at kid’s sports. Animals also play a big part in Julie’s life with dog Milla, cat Inkey and a bunch of ever-changing stock that comes with the territory, being married to a Livestock Manager.
