After a career working in the oil industry in South Africa for 22 years, Karel joined the Waitomo team in 2010. No two days have ever been the same for Karel at Waitomo, working across various business units including heading up our Sales and Health and Safety teams. With his extensive background, Karel now specialises looking after our farmtrade customers.

Married to Jackie, with two beautiful daughters Taylor and Kaylee, Karel likes to keep fit and you’ll often find him on a family challenge, climbing a mountain, tramping, cycling and exploring.
