Simon Parham

Chief Executive Officer

Simon grew up in Hamilton. After receiving a Bachelor of Science (Hons) and post-graduate Diploma in Management at Canterbury University, Simon began a 16-year career at Mobil in Wellington, Auckland and Australia, where he held various roles in convenience retail, pricing, operations and fuels marketing. Prior to joining the Waitomo team, Simon was Mobil’s New Zealand Business Development Manager. He returned home to the Waikato in 2018 to take up the reins as our Chief Operating Officer, after 5 years in the hotseat, Simon stepped into his new role as our Chief Executive Officer in 2023.

Married to Jenny, with two children, Harry and Ruby, outside work Simon can often be found near water - rowing, fishing or at the beach. He also enjoys travel, reading and the movies.
