Steven Turner

Systems Accountant

After completing a Bachelor of Accountancy at Massey University, Steven worked as an accountant in a variety of industries, including hospitality, education, medical software and manufacturing, gaining experience in business analytics, IT systems implementation and administration. Steven joined Waitomo in 2018, following a move from Auckland to the Waikato to be closer to family. No day for Steven is the same – he’s our guru on all things IT, data, and systems, developing solutions to support our rapid business growth and we’d be lost without him.

Married to Emma, with two amazing daughters, outside work Steven enjoys being on a cricket pitch, sharing time with his family exploring new interests, including archery and coaching his daughter’s junior hockey team. He also enjoys dabbling in software coding and strumming a guitar.
