Originally from the UK, Tim joined the Waitomo whānau after more than 20 years’ experience in the refining and commodity trading business in the UK, Europe and Singapore. He’s also developed and operated his own start-ups since arriving in New Zealand three years ago, so his many skills are being put to good use at Waitomo. Tim looks after a range of projects we’re working on to drive our business forward through innovation and insights.

Based in Cambridge, Tim’s whānau includes wife Pip and three children who are all enjoying school in the Waikato after living in France, Switzerland and Singapore. Outside work, Tim enjoys getting away from his phone and computer and into the outdoors. A particular passion of Tim’s is long-course triathlons, and he’s completed an impressive six Ironman events so far!
