WAITOMO “$5 MOOLAH SIGN-UP REWARD” PROMOTION 

TERMS AND CONDITIONS 


PROMOTER 


1.1 This promotion (“Promotion”) is run by Waitomo Group Limited (“Waitomo”, “we”, “us”, “our”).

ELIGIBILITY 

2.1 To be eligible for this Promotion, you must: 

(a) be a New Zealand resident; 

(b) hold a valid New Zealand mobile number; 

(c) be at least 18 years of age. 

2.2 Employees, contractors and immediate families of Waitomo, its related companies or its agencies are not eligible. 

2.3 By participating, you confirm that you meet the above eligibility criteria. 


PROMOTION DETAILS 

3.1 The Promotion is available through the website www.youvebeenchosen.co.nz (“Website”). 

3.2 Entrants must submit their valid mobile phone number via the Website to receive the reward described in clause 4. 

3.3 Only one submission per person is permitted. Duplicate or fraudulent submissions may be disqualified. 

3.4 Waitomo is not responsible for late, lost, incomplete, or technically affected submissions. 


REWARD 

4.1 Eligible participants will receive NZD $5 Moolah (fuel credit) (“Reward”). 

4.2 The Reward will be issued via SMS to the mobile number submitted through the Website. 

4.3 The Reward will be sent within 24 hours of successful submission, but delays may occur due to technical, network or system factors beyond Waitomo’s control. 

4.4 Moolah must be redeemed through the Waitomo App and is subject to the Waitomo App Terms and Conditions, including any expiry dates. 

4.5 The Reward is non-transferable, non-exchangeable and cannot be redeemed for cash. 


ADDITIONAL CONDITIONS 

5.1 Valid mobile number ownership may be verified. Waitomo may decline a Reward if a number cannot be verified or appears to be used improperly. 

5.2 Automated entries, bots, or other irregular submission methods will be disqualified. 


PRIVACY 

6.1 By participating in the Promotion, entrants consent to Waitomo collecting and using their personal information (including mobile number) for the purposes of administering the Promotion and issuing the Reward. 

6.2 Personal information will be handled in accordance with the Privacy Act 2020 and Waitomo’s Privacy Policy: https://www.waitomogroup.co.nz/waitomoapp-privacy-policy 

6.3 Entrants may request access to or correction of their personal information by contacting app@waitomogroup.co.nz 


LIABILITY 

7.1 To the fullest extent permitted by law, Waitomo will not be liable for any loss, damage or injury arising from participation in the Promotion or use of the Reward. 

7.2 Nothing in these Terms and Conditions affects any rights that cannot be excluded under the New Zealand Consumer Guarantees Act 1993. 


DISQUALIFICATION 

8.1 Waitomo may disqualify any entrant who: 

(a) does not comply with these Terms and Conditions; 

(b) provides false or misleading information; 

(c) submits multiple or fraudulent entries; or 

(d) tampers with the Promotion process. 


CHANGES OR CANCELLATION 

9.1 Waitomo may amend, suspend or cancel the Promotion at any time if reasonably necessary (for example, technical issues or system outages). 

9.2 Any changes will be communicated via the Website or other appropriate channels. 


GENERAL 

10.1 By submitting their mobile number, entrants are deemed to accept these Terms and Conditions. 

10.2 These Terms and Conditions are governed by New Zealand law. 

10.3 Any disputes will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the New Zealand courts.
